i rented the show 'Apocalypto' to watch yesterday. gosh, it was really damn sick and gory!
the story was based on ancient Central American civilisation before Christopher Columbus touched ground on that place. the types of tattoos and piercings they had were quite disgusting. but the more i looked at it, the more cool they seem. haha!

the movie depicted the lifestyle of these tribal people and what stunned me the most was their religion. the story's main character's village was attacked by some other tribe (seemingly very very much stronger and evil and cowardly) and they were taken as captives. the tribe attacked their village during dawn when most villagers were asleep and unaware. really a despicable way to attack someone unprepared. but i can't deny that it is the best way to win your enemy. haha. just that i viewed it from the defender's point of view and found it unfair.

anw, they were taken captive and brought back to the attacker's village. apparently their village were very much like the Mayan buildings and temples. they were very much advanced than the other tribes because they seem to be living in the stone age, while the tribe that was attacked was still in the kampong stage. haha. the captives were then brought to a place where they will meet with their cruel fate: to become a religious sacrifice.

they were damn sick. on the top of the Mayan temple was the religious people and the royalty, and the bottom were the followers and ceremonial dancers. among the people were heads skewered and displayed, and at the bottom side of the temple were piles of headless bodies. apparently they were worshipping a sun god and hoping that the sacrifices will appease him. the sacrifices they used were live humans, not of their own tribe but prisoners and captives and people whom they attacked and are weaker than them.

how did they make their sacrifice? they hold their sacrifice down and using a dagger, stab the stomach. that's not all. the one stabbing will use his hands to open the wound and reach for the sacrifice's inside. he digs out his heart and then the man is dead. after which he chops off the mans head and roll it down the temple, then followed by the body. the other captives were queuing at the side of the temple and witnessing what they are going to go through. really gross and sick. they were really sick bastards. what irk me the most was that before they made the sacrifice, they will say something like the sacrifice is "unafraid and willing". everything is really they say one loh, the sacrifice have no say. they say that their god will be pleased with the sacrifice of life human hearts, and they say that the sacrifice is unafraid and willing. they dun even interview the sacrifice. i would have gone mad if i were in that situation. scared like shit. imagine the last thing i see and remember before i die is someone using his hands to open my wound and reach inside for my heart. yuck!!! sick bastards!!

Pain In The Ass

people use this phrase to describe things they have to do as bothersome.
i use it now, because literally i'm having a pain in the ass.
yesterday was a shitty day.
today as well.
i LS for 4-5 times yesterday. guess was the mixed veg rice that cause it.
and today, i LS for 3 times.
1 time before i leave house, 1 time when i reach school, and 1 time when i reach home.
altogther, LS abt 7-8 times.
seriously pain in the ass man.
feeling sore. hahaha.
oh well~

i finally finished my DPD paper! whoooo~~!!! *clap clap clap*
thank God for the paper which went smoothly (as in not as bad as i thought it would be).
the paper was difficult actually.
but i pray hard that i can pass and maintain my grade.
GPA 3! i want it! =)

DPD is damn difficult to study.
all the theories: planning process, roles of govt n NTO, sustainable tourism, issues, impacts n such! raaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......
so hard to study and get it inside my head.

some divine intervention to help me for my last paper tml would be good. haha.
can u believe it?
i studied only the things that the lecturer went through during the revision lecture and 80% that she went through came out!
how cool is that?
praise the Lord man! haha.
honestly i didnt have the time to study everything for OB.
so i only studied what she went through.
what i did not study never came out!
i prayed very hard to God and i had a hunch that He will help me for OB, but not DPD.
so i have to work hard myself for DPD and put in more effort.

i really thank God for giving me the chance to teach guitar at hwa chong, and yet still able to cope with OB paper.
if not for Him then i'll be dead.
so with the money i earned, i bought an electric guitar! haha.

shots were by thomas!
haha. and was taken when i was in hwa chong. so thanks to him i have some photos of my guitar. haha.
altogether i spent $450 on the guitar, amp, n effects pedal.
joshua was able to get the package for me at $250, which includes the guit, amp, guit bag and some other accessories.
the package came with 2 cables btw! thank God for that.
and the effects pedal cost me $170.
quite fun to play around with the effects pedal.
but i still need more time to practice and try them out. haha.

today's worship was great!
i was deeply reminded that 主的恩典乃是一生之久, and 这一生最美的祝福就是认识主耶稣.

seriously, nothing is better than that.
His grace is always sufficient for me.
proven by the OB paper, which went quite smoothly for me when i wrote non-stop for the full 2hrs.
and it's a blessing to know Jesus.

What can wash away our sins?
What can make us pure again?
Nothing but Your blood that You've shed for us when You were nailed to the cross.
A blameless Lamb that was slain and resurrected on the 3rd day.

haha. it is definitely fun to be able to teach there again.
watch them struggle with chords. nyahahahahaha~!
pushing them till their fingers hurt.
'inspiring' them with some fanciful stuff that i can do.
yes, 'inspiring'. haha.
hey . . . free entertainment while they're resting their fingers ok . . .

OB paper is tml night at 7pm!!

oh yes, Spybot - Search & Destroy link:
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html

damn cool.
i scanned my com and realised that there were a lot of harmful programs inside my com.
and i cleaned them up.
just that there were two that couldnt be cleaned.
and i still receive irritating pop-ups.
i guess i'll manually search and delete them.

and i did a virus scan agian! gosh!
26 viruses! out of 26, 23 were trojan horse and 3 were worms!
disgusting! haha.
cleaned them up as well..

and if ur com is not performing properly, its best if u DEFRAG your com.
its good for your com.
what is defragmenting good for?
when you open files, your files will get fragmented.
don't ask me how it gets fragmented, i dunno, it just get fragmented!
so defragmenting defragments these files.
i would say it acts like tidying your com.
imagine when u take things from your table, after u put them back, it may not always be the same place. and when u take a lot of things from your table, chances are you wun put them back in the same place and it will be messy.
defragmenting would be tidying them up.
get the idea?
not defragmenting your com will cause slower performance.

also, do a DISK CLEANUP as well.
there are some files that are useless and taking up space.
this program will cleanup and delete these useless files for you.
it will free up space in ur com and make it more efficient to defrag.

where to find these buttons?
Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup / Disk Defragmenter

it takes a very very long time to defrag your com if u havent done it before.
may take as long as 3-5hrs.
me? i take less than an hr. hahahaha.
flash point is very nice!
it's an action packed movie.
really really action packed.
it set me following the lead character all the time, watching his every move.
the fight scenes are great!
the actors really acted out the scene and fought.
moves were damn cool, like the execution of slams seems too realistic to believe!

comparing hongkong gangsters and singpore gangsters, hongkong gangsters just seems way too cool. haha.
maybe i havent seen real singapore gangsters, but seen street thugs.
well, maybe singaporean gangsters are cool as well.
just that it will really hurt to be slashed.

unknowingly, i accepted and opened a zip file sent to me by a friend via msn.
photo.zip
i unzipped, and attempted to open the file but it didnt open.
suspecting something phishy, i quickly deleted the files.
but it was already too late.
i did a virus scan on my com that lasted 1.5hrs and nth was found.
all i knew was whenever i sign in to msn, it automatically uses my account and randomly open conversations with people and send this file 'photo.zip' over to them.
it keeps opening the windows until u cant close.
the file is small and it sends fast.
i wonder which freaking bastard created such a thing.
now i don't know if my messenger is ok after i installed "Spybot - Search & Destroy" and did a clean up.
i really really pray that its ok.
and really sorry to all who may have received this file from me..

if "Spybot - Search & Destroy" works, i'll post the link for poor victims who may stumble upon my blog to clean up.

oh oh, btw, anti-virus program downloads do not pop-up all of the sudden.
if they are really true authentic anti-virus software, they won't resort to lowly tactics to get people to download their program.
the pop-up website seems very professional, but i doubt any authentic anti-virus program would use pop-ups to ask you to download their program.
so DO NOT BELIEVE AND DOWNLOAD ANY OF THEM even if they look professional.
this is so that u can protect yourself.

the Simpson's movie is simply hilarious!
laughing non-stop from start to end!
really witty!
you can never sit still on your seat.
good movie to watch to unwind and relax.
though the elements are super dumb, its dumbly funny! haha.

finally business enterprise is over for good!
so is e-business!
and psychology!
what's left are OB n DPD exams!
time to start mugging!

there seems to be similar behaviours of school teachers.
i guess no matter which school you go to, they are all the same.
especially the one that stands in front of the hall every morning with the mike.
it's always "stand quietly."
"sit down again! we will do this until you can do it quietly."
"only slightly better. we'll see if you can do it well tml."
and its always with the snobbish + no love care & concern type of tone.
it's quite irritating to hear that sort of voice first thing in the morning.
i cant stand it.
but maybe the students are used to it already, and i've graduated from this system 3 years ago. haha.
conditioned back to the normal society.

but honestly speaking, i think some teachers should change they behaviour towards students.
i once encountered one teacher who was walking up the stairs and there was a class who was walking up as well. they were quite noisy and unruly.
she scolded them, they kept quiet.
but as she exited, she said "you're blocking way" in a nose-in-the-air-i-dun-give-a-damn-about-you tone and shoved them aside opening a way for herself.
i think it was very rude of her to do that.
she should have said "excuse me" or sth like that.
what a bad example she set.

schools offer wholistic education.
everytime there is some special english test paper from Oxford (or such) / special chinese program from China (obviously, haha.) / science practical test / etc, it's always lessons such as music and PE that gets cancelled and that time used to do those papers.
how wonderfully phrased "wholistic education".

getting back to life, it's quite sian.
the thought of DPD presentation tml, psychology test on sat, BE reflections & e-biz test & OB tutorials on next wednesday.
i can't wait for all these to be over.
and i missed worship practice today.
wasnt informed, notice board nv put on saturday.
and i have to admit it was my fault also.
i just had the feeling that i am on duty, but i was quite lazy to ask.
haha. rarrrrrrrrrrrrr.........
wenqi ah wenqi, u deserve to be scolded.
but anw, my psychology book is calling me.
