my first day of work was quite crappy.
reached STB at about 0905, and all the people i saw i was not familiar with them.
a bit sian actually.
this shows that i'm not friendly enough! haha.
i should try to talk to them more and get to know more of my course mates.
i'll really graduate knowing at least half of the people in my course.
quite cool huh?
but actually i'm not all that outgoing.
i prefer familiarity than ambiguity.
.
. .
. . .
who doesn't? haha.
i should stop this stupidity.
anw, for the next few days i'll be touring around singapore!
going to visit ethnic quarters, zoo, night spots, mac ritchie tree top walk etc.
all over the next five days, excluding weekends.
meaning, i get this weekend off! haha.
the best part of this week is other than touring singapore, i have nothing else to do!
i get released early, like today 1230pm. maybe next few days 2-3pm?
while all my other friends are working their ass off!
what's more, i may start working at Singapore Visitor's Centre only on the 1st of Oct!
why? because the rain in the past few days seem to have damaged the roof of SVC in Orchard.
can you believe it? haha, the rain damaged the ceiling of SVC!
and it takes 3 weeks to repair.
so, i won't know what i will be doing for the next few weeks until the 1st of Oct.
maybe make coffee and tea for the executives in the office. haha.
although it seems quite welfare, i do hope that i will learn something while being attached to STB.
i don't want to waste my 5 months and come out less competent than my friends.
so, i'll do my best to learn the most out of my internship!
yesterday during prayer meeting, i saw a grass field without colour.
God said "tomorrow will be a beautiful day!", and the grass field was filled with colour.
it was so vibrant and a beautiful sight to behold!
and i believe today was a beautiful day! it was a great day!
the staff at STB were friendly and nice (who knows what they're like if i start to work with them). haha.
although i complained at the start of my entry, i still wanna thank God for this day.
i made a new friend called jaron!
apparently, he has some of his friends there at STB.
despite that, he came to talk to me. haha.
quite good huh?
i hope tomorrow will be a better day.
i'm sure it will.
cos . . .
. . .
we're going to visit the ethnic quarters!
